‘Exemplary Community Engagement’: Chamber to honor Providence St. John’s CEO with award
The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce will honor Michael Ricks, CEO of Providence St. John’s Health Center, with the Outstanding Business Leader prize at the second business summit on Thursday, Jan. 25, at Santa Monica Brew Works.
This distinguished honor recognizes Ricks’ exemplary community engagement, unparalleled business acumen and transformative leadership within the health care sector. Notably, as a former chamber chair, Ricks continues to serve on the chamber’s executive committee, further solidifying his commitment to Santa Monica.
Younes Atallah, general manager at Regent Santa Monica Beach and the current chamber chair, expressed his enthusiasm for presenting this accolade.
“Michael Ricks embodies the spirit of leadership and dedication that defines our community,” Atallah said.
“His contributions have not only shaped the landscape of health care but have also enriched the Santa Monica business ecosystem. We are honored to recognize his achievements and look forward to celebrating his continued impact at the Business Summit.”
The panelists include folks from various business sectors in Los Angeles, including, SNAP Inc., Lionsgate, Go Biz, City of Santa Monica, SBDC and Botcopy AI. The panels will focus on marketing, workforce and procurement.
