Santa Monica Cares Health and Fitness Expo July 17, 2010In 2009, the Chamber combined the Health and Wellness Festival with the Non-Profit Festival to create the Santa Monica Cares Health and Fitness Expo. This new, larger and more comprehensive event serves the needs of all of Santa Monica’s residents and includes a presentation of the annual Jean McNeil-Wyner Volunteer of the Year Award. Santa Monica Cares provides valuable services, such as health screenings, demonstrations, healthy living information, and allows non-profits the opportunity to educate the community about what they do and how to get involved. This event is free to the public and draws thousands of people every year through the Third Street Promenade.   |
